   I am surprised this one is still there I worked on a proposal for some remediation work on it 8 or 9 years ago. Probably should not be surprised there have been a number of remediation projects that worked until the money ran out to start again when more is authorized.

Not that surprising. There are federal cleanup sites that are partially completed all over. Not just nuclear, there are old ammo depots that are in need of remediation as well. Partial cleanup completed, then halted when the funds run out.
