Thats 7 years from now. Who cares?

We in the nuclear industry should all care.  It appears our politicians do not care about what goes on environmentally and who profits from the resources being used.  We, in this industry, all know that we are the cheapest and most beneficial form of energy and should also be boisterous in our viewpoints that affect this industry.

Typical heartless answer from a complete moron that cares about only himself and his own inflated ego.

I arrived here at DAEC last Monday to help keep their RP training program intact because they can't hire anyone to replace those that are leaving. I can tell you that it does matter to the people working here and to the local economy.

I think we should all be worried about any plant closing. The more that close, the easier it will become for others to close. Plus the people around most plants depend on them for their livelihood. I remember when Saxton Pa. decommissioned that town went from about 3000 citizens or so down to less than 900 in no time, the place was devastated. For that reason I for one hate to hear of another plant closing. I don't have many more years that I will need these plants, but that doesn't mean that I want to see any closed.
