Metrology Lab?
« on: Apr 16, 2021, 02:22 »
Hello, new worker here. I am in the Met Lab at my plant. Is it true most nuclear plants do not have an onsite Met Lab? What growth opportunities lay ahead of me if I have technical training (which got me the job) plus a Bachelors in Business? I will be pursuing a Masters in Engineering Management within next five years as well. How do I get into executive leadership at a nuclear plant especially if I want to stay local to where I am at? ;D

Ask the people at your facility. The best path is Operations. NLO, OJT, then Licensing Training, more OJT, CRO, Shift Manager, and lots of golf.
