I have not.  What types of questions have you asked it?

I have asked this one some pretty advanced dose calculation and regulatory response based questions. It’s a useful tool if you have a proper chatgpt account subscription.

“How do I calculate DAC-hours for Am-241 inhalation over a 10-hour shift at 0.05 DAC? Show the math, units, and assumptions.”

I've just been using it to do family tree research pre-emegration, and to help set up my home network on a pro-grade router.

You can also make your own GPT trained on custom texts, if you have a subscription.  I've been messing around trying to make one that is more emergency response-based.  I haven't made it very far because there are a limited number of texts you can load and I haven't had time to merge PDFs of all the texts I want it to "learn" to get the number of books under that limit.

My overall experience with ChatGPT has been it does a good job with low-level questions, but in situations that require the application of real-world experience or knowledge... it falls flat on its face.  That's probably to be expected though since it's the perfect manifestation of a "keyboard warrior with perfect google-fu".  I have seen it blow math problems badly.  I have asked it questions about regulations only to have it completely invent the wording it thought I wanted to hear, even though I specified that I wanted a verbatim citation from the regs.  Finally, there are times it will get "stuck" on a concept, answer, or response and the only thing you can do, is kill the session and start over.  There will be applications for it, it's just not there yet.  Fun to play with though.
