I drove out to East Tennesse Technology Park (ETTP) to map out an outing to tour ETTP museums for my SubVets chapter. I have lived in the Oak Ridge area and worked for a number of companies on a number of sites on the Oak Ridge Reservation for the last twenty years. The change especially for ETTP (old K-25) have been dramatic. I drove on what are now public roads on ETTP where at one time the world's largest building was and behind security gates. I almost missed the location of one museum because it was attached to the new Oak Ridge fire station number four with the same brick and design. Private companies now reside there including the Hermes reactor by Kairos which is under construction there. Feeling a little old, oh wait I am old.
