Duke Energy reports leak in cooling system for nuclear reactor in Oconee County

Many years ago, at an outage at Zion a freeze seal broke loose and spilled water on the containment floor. I thought nothing of it other than an inconvenience. We got deconer's on it right away to clear away the water and ops isolated it quickly. After work listening to the news you would have thought the plant melted down. Public education is much better today but still a lot of work to do.
