Why does New York State have 3 operating nuclear power plants (& looking at more) and Indiana has zero?

Pathetic.  They have the Ohio River at one end and Lake Michigan at the other for water cooling sources.

Why does Tennessee talk up nuclear and have no nuclear power near Nashville and Memphis??
