We made a new tool fro you:

The Operating Reactor Scram Dashboard is a comprehensive analytical tool designed for monitoring and analyzing U.S. commercial nuclear power plant trip events. It centralizes raw data from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) into a set of interactive visualizations and logs.
Core Functionality

The dashboard tracks every confirmed automatic and manual scram across the fleet. Key real-time metrics at the top of the page include:

Scrams This Year / Projected: Tracks total YTD scrams and provides a projection based on current run rates.

Last 365 Days: A rolling count of events, offering a non-calendar-year perspective on fleet stability.

Segmented Totals: Immediate counts of Automatic vs. Manual trips and PWR vs. BWR occurrences.

Analytical Visualizations

The tool provides several distinct ways to view historical and current data:

Monthly Scram Trend: A bar chart comparing the last three years of data. It features a 5-year average overlay (dashed red line) to provide immediate historical context for monthly spikes.

Seasonal Pattern: Aggregates all years of data to show industry-wide trends over the calendar year, helping to identify peaks during spring and fall outage seasons.

Fleet-Wide Distribution: Charts showing scram counts by state, NRC region (I–IV), and plant type.

Operational Efficiency: Includes a chart on Power Level at Time of Scram and a metric for Average Recovery Time (days to reach 95% power over the last 5 years).

Data Exploration & Filtering

Users can drill down into the data using a robust set of filters:

Date Range: Analysis from 2011 to the present.

Plant-Specific: Filter by any individual reactor in the U.S. fleet.

Regional & Technical: Filter by NRC Region, reactor type (PWR/BWR), or the nature of the trip (Auto/Manual).

The Scram Event Log

At the bottom of the tool is a granular log of every event. Features of the log include:

Detailed Descriptions: Concise summaries of the event causes.

Direct Documentation: Each entry contains an external link icon that takes the user directly to the official NRC Event Notification Report.

Data Portability: An "Export CSV" feature allows users to download the filtered data for offline analysis.

User Support & Freshness

The tool is built for professional use, featuring a "Data refreshed" timer (e.g., "3.6h ago") and tooltips on key metrics to ensure users understand the underlying definitions and formulas.
