Germany agreed Thursday to invest 300 million euros (354 million dollars) in a project to help Russia safely dispose of 120 of its Soviet-era nuclear submarines, the economy ministry said.

Do any of our well-connected NukeWorkers have any information about such a project? I would definitely be interested if it is possible for U.S. techs to apply....

I`m a licensed RO in a German NPP. In fact, I heard also about this project. I`m going to ask my fellows in the German Nuclear Society (KTG) for more information`s. If I got some useful info`s I will send it to this page. Did you try a web search ?  ;)

I have found the website of the involved company.
www.ewn-gmbh.de  The homepage is bilingual, but I found no informations regarding employment. As far as I know they recruit their staff primarily from the not operating Greifswald NPP. But I`m sure EWN is interested in experienced  Technical Specialists. Try to contact them for first hand information`s.
