Trojan employees were saddened to hear that their co-worker Chuck Allen
died Oct. 21, after a valiant two-year battle with cancer. He was 51.

A 28-year PGE veteran, Allen had worked most of that time in various
quality assurance positions at the Trojan Plant. Since October 2003, he
served as a lead specialist in the Trojan Independent Spent Fuel Storage
Installation (ISFSI) department.

Chuck was an awesome guy and will be missed.  R.I.P. old friend.

Sad news for all of us who worked with Chuck throughout the decommissioning and on the ISFSI project...
We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can't think what anybody sees in them.      - B. Baggins

Chuck was a pleasure to know and work with. Always a smile and a kind word. Condolences to his family.
Life is short. That is all there is to say. Get what you can from the present - thoughtfully, justly.

Liberty is never unalienable. It must be redeemed regularly with the blood of patriots or it always vanishes.
