Security version of fire brigades??

I have seen where operators are sometimes part of fire brigrades at plants, but are they ever involved in the security side of things?
Is there such thing as "operators with guns" ore would this be a generally bad thing?
Thanks
Rob

No. It would be too much to get the RO's to stop playing with the guns.

I just read this post for the first time... I think I am going to have nightmares for a long time.

actually, if you used the HP Techs to supplement security it wouldn't be too bad of an idea... we're generally pretty responsible...
