I am going to college this fall for computer science and networking. However I have always been good a machining parts as well. Would either of these ever have a chance of being useful in the nuke field?
Everybody (nuke plants included) has a computer geek, or three, so no reason you couldn't work in the field if you wanted...
My nephew is also good at machining parts, so he went to gunsmithing school...just hired on with one of the custom rifle makers. (I know...that has nothing to do with nuke...
except it made about 90% of us nukes jealous that he got the fun job!)

Good luck in school! My advice: Go to
every class,
every day...the rest will be easy. (I took 20+ years to finish a degree, because I didn't know that 'rule' at first...)
