Is overtime Mandatory for skilled trades?
« on: Mar 13, 2013, 08:52 »
Hi,
I was wondering if OT is mandatory for skilled trades (union represented) at D C Cook plant?  Is turnover high in skilled trades?  What union represents mechanics, electricians, etc?  When is the contract up? Do layoffs happen often? Any info greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's voluntary until you're forced.  Then it's mandatory.
