Cross Service applicants

Friends,

I'm a Chief Warrant Officer in the army in the Ordnance branch with 11 years of service, however I otherwise meet the requisite qualifications for the Nuke field. I'm interested in transferring in - are inter service transfers viewed favorably by the program, or is there even much of a precedent for it at all? I'm 29 years old right now and have grown sour of the lack of challenge and intellectual stimulus in my current field. What options do I have?
