I am searching for feedback on CAMs.  Our facility primarily handles U-238 and we use Alpha 6A for airborne monitoring.  The CAMs are primarily used for monitoring stacks.  We have not been satisfied with the Alpha 6A and were looking for a CAM that is easy to use and calibrate.  We have been looking at the Canberra iCAM Alpha/Beta Air Monitor.  Does anyone have feedback regarding the iCAM or any comments about any type of user-friendly CAM for a U-238 facility?

I know that LLNL has bought 80 units that should be installed soon. They did several test before choosing the best CAM on the market and went with Canberra.

I would check with them. Where are you located?
