Question for those that can answer with facts - this is meant to be an informal benchmark for a specific question. INPO has (appropriately) made Collective Radiation Exposure (CRE) improvement a big thing.

Approximately what percentage of the total station dose is each of the major department dose at your BWR?

OPS - (if rounds / tagouts are broken out separately, that would be a great help)
RP
Mechanical Maint
Maintenance Support (Scaffolding, etc)
Radwaste (This will vary a lot based upon responsibility - OPS / RP - who does processing)

Trying to get a feel for other BWR dose - feel free to answer on the board, or PM me with info. Please identify your site.
Looking for feedback from either knowledgeable RP / ALARA / OPS mgr, etc. If there is a specific contact person at your site that would be willing to talk to me, please provide contact info in a PM.

Thanks, and Happy New Year to all of you

I wish an RP Tech from my old plant was here to speak up. I do not remember the details but they had very low dose for rounds and tagouts. In fact when I transitioned to the PWR world I was shocked at how much extra dose was taken at a PWR than I was used to.

Not sure whether you want online, outage or an average.  Either way I cant recall most of them off the top of my head but I'll look when I get back to work.  I do know RP at my plant picks up between 6 and 7%.
