Im a commercial diver for a company that does all outage work. I have 2yrs experience in nuclear diving, including fuel floor/IFTIS systems and suppression pools. Ive been badged at multiple plants and am looking to get in to another career. Mainly not to travel 350 days a year. How do i go about getting in to those fields?

Do you have welding experience (many of the divers I know do)...or any other experience you could use to get into maintenance instead?  Decon and RP hiring are so cyclical that I encourage people to try for the steadier branches of nuclear power if they have the skills.

Good luck!  :)
We are plain quiet folk and have no use for adventures. Nasty disturbing uncomfortable things! Make you late for dinner! I can't think what anybody sees in them.      - B. Baggins
