Senate Passes Pro-Nuclear Appropriations Bill

In a strong bipartisan vote, the U.S. Senate May 12 passed the $37.5 billion Energy and Water Development Appropriations bill for fiscal 2017. Approved 90-8, the measure makes a substantial investment in nuclear energy.

hip hooray,...

for politically connected and correct donors such as Nu Scale; the DOE is now funded for Nu Scale (and ilk) to win yet a third round of government "investment" while there is still not a single SMR to be found pushing electrons across the grid of the fruited plains but, the Chicoms, the Indos and the Brits will use the technology we paid for twice ( and now again) to power up their grids as we step back into even deeper debt and even more Detroits,...

yeah, I'm so optimistic (not),.... :(
