   An application for nuclear ships or barges could be emergency response for storms/hurricanes. Nuclear icebreakers make sense, Russia is the only country using them, they currently have several but aim to increase that fleet to thirteen. Russia also operates a nuclear barge that supplies power to the Chukotka Peninsula. There are a lot of newer SMR designs that could work but probably not sodium cooled if you remember your high school chemistry class demonstration.
