Former enlisted nuke seeking NUPOC
« on: Jul 01, 2024, 08:48 »
Former MMN2 here, starting a BS in Mechanical Engineering this fall. I am wondering what my odds of acceptance into the NUPOC program are (assuming I meet minimum standards listed on the Navy's website). I will be 29 upon projected graduation date or potentially 28 if I do summer semesters (my university has full 16 week summer semesters). If I don't study during the summers how hard is it to get an age waiver for commissioning at the age of 29? And what are my odds of acceptance in general.

Additional information: No criminal record, no previous drug use, no pre existing waivers from enlistment, clean bill of health, submariner, and a power school GPA of 3.2 (if they care about such things)
