How one company plans to put a nuclear microreactor at Buckley

The Department of the Air Force selected Radiant Industries to install a microreactor at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado. The company plans to begin testing the TRISO-fueled unit at the Idaho National Laboratory this summer. This project represents a move toward deploying small-scale nuclear technology on military installations to support energy needs.
