Fulcrum Point Holdings and Blue Castle Holdings have formed a joint venture to advance a nuclear power project near Green River, Utah. The partnership aims to utilize Holtec International's SMR-300 small modular reactor technology to move the site through federal licensing, development, and eventual construction of a new power plant.

This initiative aligns with Utah's Operation Gigawatt, a state-led effort to double power production capacity over the next decade. By leveraging existing site data and water rights, the developers intend to demonstrate the viability of SMR technology in arid environments. The project serves as a test case for regional nuclear expansion and supply chain integration.
