Jobs after Navy

How much of a demand is there for Nukes in the civilian world? I know theyre building a few new plants, but the last 20 projects that have been started were canceled. Im in DEP now going into NF. It does not sound like there is a high demand in the nuke field.

Remember,
Navy Nuke Field training gives you a valuable skill set that is transferrable to many jobs after you get out. Once a company hires a navy nuke, they often are impressed and seek out more. A buddy told me that his old job (Coca-Cola bottling) called to see if he had any friends getting out of the Navy soon that might be interested. I have seen tire manufacturers directly recruit from the Navy Nukes for maintenance.

When you get through the Navy nuke pipeline, you have proven yourself capable of learning dang near any job. Don't believe that you know it all, but you do have the demonstrated capability to learn it.
