how hard is it to obtain unescorted access at a different plant if the person's unescorted access was identified as removed in the NRC PADS database at a sepatrate plant?

This is a good FAQ to start answering your question...

I'm interested in anyone in the nuclear industry has had their unescorted access pulled and what their experience was in getting it re-instated?  Specifically, if it was removed at one plant, how hard was it to obtain unescorted access at another plant?  Did you have to wait years for re-instatement?  How did you summarize your removal of unescorted access in such a manner as to have restored?

actully, this question is not an attempt at humor...

I have a friend who is in a bind and worried about obtaining unescorted access at another plant if the decision is made to remove it at the plant my friend is presently at....

Any and all advice in this matter will be much appreciated

Thanks Tim...

I appreciate the info

It all depends what was done to get access revoked. It's one of the first questions asked in the paperwork, " have you ever been denied access..?" He should think of DOE work as a fallback.
