What an amazing Memorial Day weekend. We started at the USMC Museum in Quantico. We met Frank Matthews. He was a survivor from the initial assault at Iwo Jima. Today I watched my nephew become a 2nd Lt. in the USMC at the graduation ceremony at Annapolis. He got his first salute from his best friend from kindergarten who is a Corporal in the USMC recently back from a tour in Afghanistan.

Congratulations to the new graduate.. a proud moment for his entire family. I have seen the graduation cermonies at the Academy before... very impressive.
