Jim was a good man and I enjoyed working with him at DC Cook many years ago. I have some fond memories of after work activities in St. Joe and actually thought about him just a couple of days ago. Very sad news.

Another good one leaves us too early. I don't know how many different sites I was at with Jimmy.
I had no idea he was sick and hadn't seen him in forever. God Bless ya, Jimmy and my condolences to the family.

also do you think i should tell his sons now or wait til after the hioliday?

Unfortunately no one can make that decision but you. My worthless advice is, if the children are grown tell them now. If they are still 'Christmas Magic' age, wait.

My condolences to you and them.

Damn! I say......that sucks.  I worked side by side with Jim for a couple years at PVNGS and Ft. St. Vrain.  Great guy...my day wasn't complete until I got at least one "F*** you Fry!" out of him. :)  Rest in peace old friend.

Very sad to hear, I've know Jimmy since 1980 at IP-2.  Was His room mate at Maxey Flat in Kentucky one summer.  I am sure he is now hanging out with his brother Gene at the Johnny Ritz in the sky.

I will miss Jim, he and I had some great times together. I'm sorry to say that I have not been in touch with him for quite awhile, and now it's too late.

GOD Bless, and rest in peace my friend.

I knew Jim at PVNGS back in the day when I was Security and was married to Glenn " Captain Bell bottoms" "desert rat" McCoy.  Glenn passed away also back in August of 2007.  Now he and Jim are up there raising the roof.  They are throwing one helk of a party up there. R.I.P. Jim and my prayers are with your family.

sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. I have not worked with Jim in many years, but the days and outages back in the 80's at D.C.Cook were a blast. Jim was well liked and I will never forget the work and the good times.  May God Bless His Soul.
