What would you change about the NRC?
« on: Apr 25, 2025, 07:20 »
I'm working to gather information from the nuclear industry about what regulatory changes/NRC changes would be most desirable. Do you guys have specific ideas of regulations, reg guides, NRC processes, NRC structure, etc. that are overly detrimental and could be changed without undue risk to public safety and health? If so, do tell!

Also, if you have stories about times when regulations/the NRC required something to happen that was dumb, I'd love to hear those as well.

Answers here are intended to to some higher-ups in the administration.
