Crusoe and Aalo Atomics to Build Nuclear-Powered AI Factory

Crusoe and Aalo Atomics will deploy a modular data center powered by an Aalo XMR reactor at Idaho National Laboratory by 2027. This proof of concept aims to demonstrate the integration of small-scale nuclear power with high-demand AI workloads. The companies plan to expand the deployment of 50 MWe power plants to additional data centers by the end of 2029.

Crusoe and Aalo Atomics are partnering to build the first nuclear-powered AI factory, with a Crusoe Spark modular ai data center at Idaho National Lab live in 2027.
