Springfields is a nuclear fuel manufacturing site at Salwick, near Preston in the Borough of Fylde, Lancashire, England. It occupies the grounds of a wartime munitions factory.

The factory was built in 1940 to make munitions. The British government decided in March 1946 to house the country's nuclear fuel fabrication there, and the site's original nuclear license is dated March 28, 1946. Control passed from the Ministry of Supply to the UK Atomic Energy Authority and then to British Nuclear Fuels. The site made Magnox fuel for the Calder Hall power station and for reactors in Japan and Italy. The last of about 5.5 million Magnox fuel rods was made in 2008, and the final Magnox fuel consignment left in December 2011.
