Windscale AGR (WAGR) was a prototype advanced gas-cooled reactor on the Windscale part of the Sellafield site in Cumbria, England. The UK Atomic Energy Authority described it as a prototype for the advanced gas-cooled reactor design that followed the Magnox stations. It was designed for 100 MW of heat and 30 MW of electricity, with graphite moderation and carbon dioxide cooling, and was built by Mitchell Construction.

The reactor was connected to the grid in February 1963 and permanently shut down in April 1981. After shutdown, it was used as a pilot project to demonstrate techniques for decommissioning a reactor, and The Engineer reported the end of that project in June 2011.
