Looking at taking a full time position at SSQ.

I am going to maintain my primary residence about 2 hours away, but want to find a 1 bedroom/1 bath near the plant. Looking for something as close to the plant as possible for my work-week and when I am on call during my ERO rotation.

There are rooms to rent north of the plant in Shickshinny. They are furnished bedrooms with 3 shared baths. The building is on the right when you come to the light and the phone number is posted on the building. I've stayed there many time, they are clean and well cared for. I hope that this helps.

They also include an eat in kitchen, bathroom with washer and dryer, outside deck with gas grill,  off street parting and walking distance to social clubs and restaurants. I can vouch for this. I am staying here and this setup is absolutely perfect. Except for a pool, this place is the bomb at $55 a night. That is with the PPL rate. A diamond in the rough.

I will reiterate this again. You will not be unsatisfied with this place.

When I started there, I stayed at the Extended Stay America in Wilkes Barre for a month or so. It was pretty nice, about 25-30 minutes from the plant, and they had weekly and monthly rates. There's also a Holiday Inn Express and a Red Roof Inn right next to it.
