As info I have seen a few other documents like this and I dont know if its just me but I cant see any numerical data

other than the legend and a few other places like "soil"  I can only see dots ..........

Thankyou for the info...I am using an iPhone and can see clearly all the text...most interesting is the July survey of > 10,000 mSv/hr (>1,000 R/hr) at SGTS piping between and slightly west of Unit 1 and Unit 2.

You need to let Acrobat install the Japanese fonts for them to display.  The number's aren't in Japanese, but you need the fonts installed to read them...

Thanks storm13!  I figured I didn't need Japanese since I couldn't understand it.  I didn't consider that they might be Japanese Arabic numbers instead of English Arabic numbers

It is the filter and stack system for treating the vented gas from containment.

   It looks as if all the fuel in unit 1 melted, breached the reactor vessel, melted through several feet of sub pile room concrete floor and came close to melting through the metal bottom of the dry well.
  Correct me if I have this wrong.

Modification to this post...it looks like I was wrong. The fuel apparently only melted through 5% of the concrete above the metal bottom of the drywell.

"The melted core material did not even get close to exiting the container that was designed to retain it. And this was a case where the reactor was operating at full power and then lost all cooling within a few minutes. It is hard to get much worse than that."

AFP - TEPCO, the operator of Japan's crippled Fukushima nuclear plant, said Wednesday record amounts of radiation had been detected in the basement of reactor number 1, further hampering clean-up operations.

TEPCO took samples from the basement after lowering a camera and surveying instruments through a drain hole in the basement ceiling.

Radiation levels above radioactive water in the basement reached up to 10,300 millisievert an hour, a dose that will kill humans within a short time after making them sick within minutes.

The annual allowed dose for workers at the stricken site is reached in only 20 seconds.

"Workers cannot enter the site and we must use robots for the demolition," said TEPCO.

The Fukushima operator said that radiation levels were 10 times higher than those recorded at the plant's two other crippled reactors, number two and three.

Just took a class on Fukushima......some crazy stuff.  A couple Control Room Operators received ~65 REM of total exposure (mostly internal) because they didnt have respirator glasses and chose seeing over a protection factor.  Still, given the situation, no worker has been exposed to 70+ REM......I find that amazing.  The Fukushima work force has done an incredible job.
