I have a poor quailty image, not sure where it originally came from (looks like a scan of a book page) but it has a young Ronald Reagan donning a radiation badge with the words under it "no matter who you are....ALWAYS WEAR YOUR BADGE AT WORK"  There is an emblem in the lower corner that isn't clear enough to make out the organization.

I'm curious, has anyone else seen this or does anyone have a copy of it or know anything about it, where it came from etc...  I would really enjoy getting a back story on the image if any one knows what I am typing about.  I have tried googling different combinations but couldn't find anything.

I've got a copy on a different hard drive, will send by PM after shift.

I have the same thing. From what I was told, it's from Hanford back in the day. I (allegedly) used it in my training program as one of my (alleged) PowerPoint slides. Ditto with a copy (allegedly) available if you need one. I think I got my (alleged) copy from a nuclear museum web site or something like that.

If it is a view of an equipment hatch with Reagan looking up, then it is Surry Power station in Va.

I'm pretty sure it's from the West. I think I remember him standing over a badge rack. Argonne West? LLNL?

Keep in mind the DOE recycled that image after Reagan became President.

Your image may be AEC or another version.

There was no DOE when that picture was taken.

been there, dun that,... the doormat to hell does not read "welcome", the doormat to hell reads "it's just business"

Now I'm trying to find the picture of Paul Harvey scaling the fence at Argonne Lab in Idaho, back in the late 40's (not as a protestor, but trying to prove security was slack during the Cold War)
