Very good story, but is disarming a large conventional bomb any worse? There is only one level of dead, whenther from a small or large or incredible size blast, all you can be is dead.

In 1952, it probably was not an issue. How big of a blast is needed to destroy all the DNA and leave no trace that you ever existed?
