Wow....what an insane (and idiotic) way to spin the fact that Indian Point helped these communities thrive for many....many years. So Politicians now feel the need to support these communities that were doing just fine BECAUSE Politicians forced the closure of perfectly good working reactors......and this is somehow Indian Point's fault and its now a Nuclear dump.

Another "news" article written by a reporter that doesn't understand the facts. The local communities will not just be "burdened?" by the nuclear waste, but there will be jobs for years to come removing that waste. The workers will continue to support the surrounding communities.
