Clearance question dismissed felony
« on: May 28, 2025, 11:35 »
So I interviewed and was offered a NLO including relocating. I agreed. Then I was told after 6 months I would need to apply and get UA unescorted access security clearance. At that time I disclosed I had a record including juvenile (sealed) recorded and one adult arrest for public intoxication and forgery for being in possession of multiple counterfeit $20 bills. After I said that HR said they would get back to me. This is something I disclosed and was never asked about. I would think if it’s a requirement any background check would have been done first or at the least ask about a criminal record rather then moving there to find out I won’t qualify. I was getting ready to start putting offers in on houses I have about 2 months to secure housing before I potentially start. I waited a week called hr again no response. What do you think I should do, secure housing still or wait? What are my chances. I read the forums be upfront have documents. My charges were dismissed.
