The Nuclear Regulatory Commission determined that the proposed restart of the Crane nuclear power plant will not result in significant environmental impacts. This finding allows the agency to bypass a lengthy environmental impact statement process. Public comments on the draft assessment are being accepted through July 8, with a final determination expected in September.
