CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCCI) - The Iowa Nuclear Energy Task Force, a group created by Governor Kim Reynolds via an executive order in January, held its final meeting on Tuesday.

The mission of the task force is to advance nuclear technology and infrastructure throughout the state of Iowa.

Some of their key initiatives include designating a state contact, studying where those projects could work, training workers and help local communities decide if nuclear energy is fitting for them.
