TRISO-X, a subsidiary of X-energy, has acquired 70 acres of land adjacent to its existing nuclear fuel fabrication campus in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This purchase increases the total site footprint to approximately 180 acres. The additional space is intended for utility corridors, equipment staging, fuel storage, and future facility expansion.

The expansion supports the development of the TX-1 fuel fabrication facility and potential future projects, including a second commercial fuel plant and a research center. This site development aligns with the company's efforts to scale High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) production for advanced small modular reactors.
