ELEMENTL POWER, DS INVESTMENT PARTNERS AND SAMSUNG C&T TO ADVANCE NEW U.S. NUCLEAR DEVELOPMENT

Elementl Power signed a preliminary agreement with DS Investment Partners and Samsung C&T to create a funding platform. The proposed partnership provides up to $750 million for advanced nuclear projects in the United States. This funding targets pre-construction activities such as permitting and long-lead item procurement.

The consortium aims to support up to three advanced reactors, including a 1.5 gigawatt facility in Ohio using GE Vernova Hitachi small modular reactors. Private capital models of this scale seek to accelerate commercial deployment by combining financial backing with international engineering and construction expertise. Final approval remains subject to definitive documentation and regulatory conditions.
