I am interested in finding out who/whom is overseeing the testing these days. In the past I could call some guy back at Salem or somewhere back east that kept track of testing. Is it still the same or has someone or some company taken over tracking who took it when?
Can they be contacted? Any info would be help. Thanks in advance

Which material on this website "or any other site" would be most beneficial for me as far as taking the Rp Fundamental or NUF exam on nantel?  These are the links I was told of. "http://www.nukeworker.com/study/hp/neu/condensed_study_guides/index.shtml" and "http://www.nukeworker.com/quiz/" Just wanting a second opinion for an official study guide.  Something that mirrors the exam as close as possible.  Any advice?

Here is the website (WesTrain) for the Official NUF study guide.....

There is also a study guide available on NANTeL once you have been assigned the exam on NANTeL.

Thanks a lot you guys!  I really appreciate it. ;D

The study information for the NUF on this site is an exact copy of the 'official' information  on the WesTrain site.  Our free online practice tests are worded similar and cover similar topics.

The New NUF Cram Notes is finally available:

NUF Cram Notes Kindle Edition
NUF Cram Notes Print Edition <- Rennhack's Favorite

It's about 3x the size of the original.  I highly recommend it.  It is more detailed than the original.  This version is aimed at the less experienced NUF test taker than the original "RP Cram Notes".

A quick question about the NUF.  I have been practicing the NUF on this site and have made 80% and above on all tests except 1.  I have to take the NUF in order to satisfy part of the testing required for graduating from the RPT program at a local community college.  I would love to know if these practice exams are anywhere close to the real exam, and also if the questions on the real exam are limited to 60 seconds to answer?  Thanks in advance.

I'm taking the NUF exam Tuesday of next week.
Pulled down the study icon on Nukeworker, been reviewing the NP1-5 and RP1-5.
Taken the free practice exams.
Look over the abbreviated study guide.
Is there any new up to date stuff that cut thought the chase.
Any help would be appreciated

Also make sure you understand what isotopes are fission product vs activation.   Also study sections about what isotopes you would see in pwr vs bwr.  Of course gas amplification curve

If you take this quiz 50 times, and get 100% on it each time, then you should have no problem:

one more thing to consider when you are studying--The problems are often multistep.  For example they may give some amount of activity of C0-60 and then ask what dose rate is at 3 ft if there is a tenth thckness of material shielding it.  If you break it down its not hard but you have to be able to see it as 3 seperate problems.    Don't freak when you see the problems -- take a deep breath and see if you can break it into smaller pieces.  Too many people  that I see taking it panic when they initally read problem and then just guess.  That rarely seems to be work out.

Just a bump for anybody wondering,  I took the test today and that statement above is the absolute truth.  >90% of the questions I had were covered by similar questions on the practice quizzes here.  Thanks Rennhack for all the good info on this site!

Yes, you are correct ! Thank you Rennhack for your question bank you provide for us, it helped me pass the Core and the NUF tests, a week apart !pbooth

Thank you Nukeworker, I took the NUF and got a 92% thanks to your study guides and practice exam.

The only way I know of how the testing kept track of is on PADS or on Nantel.  You take it at a plant and they put the results in your PADs, or it is in the Nantel system if you take it there.
It is what it is!

Now that the test is passed, how to get a copy of B's Wish List/Outage List?

The study information for the NUF on this site is an exact copy of the 'official' information  on the WesTrain site.  Our free online practice tests are from a small sample of old previously compromised NUF (NEU) tests, so they are worded similar and cover similar topics, but shouldn't compromise any modern tests integrity.

Except missing the diagrams and figures.  Which are quite helpful.  And seeing as how westrain.org is no longer operational this is quite annoying.

Take every test here and write down any question you miss and study the question. If you're in a decent program and are consistently passing the tests here you'll do fine.
