Kola NPP
Kola Nuclear Power Plant was the first nuclear power plant in the Soviet Union to be built north of the Arctic Circle. The plant has four VVER-440 pressurised water reactors. The two oldest reactors (both of which are type 230), along with the kind of reactor used at Chernobyl are considered by international experts to be the most dangerous types of reactors in the world. All four of the Kola reactors lack a safety containment which would prevent the spread of radioactivity in the event of an accident.
