Is there ever any short-term work to be found between outage seasons, during the June-August time frame?

I realize that there's no work at the plants, but I was wondering in terms of DOE facilities, commercial counting labs, radiochemistry labs, etc.

Thanks!

FYI:  There are many decon jobs that pay diem.

Sue Davies

How do you find those summer, with per diem decon jobs?  Contractors?  If so, which are the most common ones?
Thank you.

Dave Warren

There are always jobs between outages at several facilities.
There aren't a whole lot of decon jobs at these places though.
Most of the DOE, USACE, DoD jobs are long-term.
The ones you speak of are few and far between.
