help please

My name is megan and i need some help ive never worked on outages before and im really interested in it. There is a outage coming up where i live and would like some help on how to get infomation to be hired on

i just graduated college. i have no experience in nuclear plant. my uncle is a manager at the nuke site in russellville. i just have a friend that got hired on. He told me i had to join a union before i could actually get on?
