Academic Integrity Violation and PHQ
« on: Mar 21, 2025, 06:17 »
I've been laughed out of other forums for asking this, but I still have my worries.

If in the pursuit of my degree I received a violation of academic integrity for the alleged use of AI in an essay for a writing course, what are the chances that disclosure of this issue on my PHQ will result in not receiving UAA?

A few important details:
  • I'm not guilty. But the burden of proof was with me, not the instructor, and I failed to convince otherwise.
  • This occurred about a year ago.
  • It's not on my academic record, but it's probably in the bowels of the University records department somewhere.
  • I do not see not disclosing this to be an option. I am only asking if someone with experience or that has been through something similar can shed some light on my chances so I can prep accordingly.
Thanks in advance.
