Three Mile Island 1, Middletown, Pennsylvania.

MIDDLETOWN, PA. Three Mile Island 1, the 786 MWe reactor offline since September 20, 2019, is on its way back to the grid. The U.S. Energy Information Administration now lists the Constellation Energy plant among the generators set to return to service, the first confirmation in federal energy records that the restart effort is moving forward. Permanently retired reactors rarely come back, which makes this one of the most closely watched milestones in the U.S. nuclear fleet.

A restart means jobs. See open nuclear jobs in Pennsylvania on NukeWorker.
