The University of Utah academic senate approved revisions to its nuclear engineering minor to include seven new courses focused on power plants, fuel cycles, and thermodynamics. Scheduled for a fall 2027 launch, the expanded curriculum aims to support regional workforce demands and state energy expansion initiatives.
