Has anyone had any problems in getting unescorted access at any of the NMC plants such as slow processing, unreasonable denial, etc?

Very slow processing, yes.

A bad case of the "not done here" syndrome when it comes to clearances.

Refreshing this topic slightly.....

Anyone have a good time frame for recent security clearance decisions?  I got all my paperwork filled out and sent in recently (within the past couple of weeks), and I'm wondering about how long it might take to hear back.  Just would like to know when I could expect to be coming off of unemployment.

And yes, I was completely honest with everything they asked.  My friends and previous co-workers were very surprised that they got called about me.

Some good news, I passed my urinalysis.  Whoo Hoo! LOL, I can't believe they actually sent me a letter telling me I passed.
