I think we all need those T shirts... and the best ones have great slogans.

For CC unit 1 outage 18..."Its a good day to body count"

Whats yours ??

After the TSP trouble y'all had at the Cliffs how about:

Grinding out another one at the Cliffs.

Anyone who was there for the Unit 1 SGRO would appreciate that one.
There are the Habs, and the Hab nots.

Atomic_Punk

T-shirt Front:
"Overstaffed and Overpaid and it's all over in 60 days!"
Back:
NOT!

I like it.  I would love to hear others, then we will vote on the best.  Then I'll make them!

At BFN it is "we are aggressively deconning the plant- One shower at a time"

USMCRADCON

My all-time favorite was:

"Playing Hide and Seek for a grand a week"

Needless to say, this was quickly banned from use while on premesis at PeCo back in the 80's
"Welcome to the show, you are now officially one of Jerry's Kids"

Roll Tide

Quality work's last

i can't believe this has been left to drop..   here's an opportunity to resurrect some classics!!

i remember one i saw (can't remember from where) and while the artwork would present some copyright infringements the slogan was perfect  "When you're hot, you're hot!"

RADBASTARD

How about

GIT R DONE then DFR

Gonzo

i guess you could never duplicate it..   it was very site and event specific..  but i gotta believe the greatest teeshirt of all time was the St Paddy's day shirt, U2 Palo Verde back I guess in the late 80s or early 90s...   The feds are probably still looking for the culprit or culprits who inspired that shirt...

Here's one from Crystal River on the occasion of the head change out in '03,
a picture of the headless horseman and it read "23 head job"...

oldodge52

I was with LaFeet, hamsammich, RadBastard at CC last outage with the TSP fiasco.... How about "Chaos equals cash"
I also like LaFeet's: It's a good day to body count.
One of my personal favorites: got dose?
;D

da beav  had one a decade ago err sew that had the twin domes sited behind the two cooling towers 'n in front of a hill.  simple site text, but at a quick look, it appeared to be a nude woman on her back.  i can't remember iffen there was a site ban, as da ex banned it after one of the daughters wanted to know who da naked lady wuz on daddy's shirt.   :D

what plant had da "magenta and red means butter and bread"?

a few years ago at the Columbia they had an outage mascot (i guess) they used for all the safety/production posters...   they used Builder Bob, changed his tool belt a bit and renamed him....  what they probably should've imagined is the fun the contractors would have since you could pick up one of these things anywhere...   someone did and we took it to a beer night at jackson's in richland...   i still have some photos somewhere...

Roll Tide

Would lame official outage slogans be a separate thread?

"Shootin for the final Four" was probably pretty clever for someone's March (Madness) outage. For the outage scheduled between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I would have preferred

"How many turkeys can you have in one year?"
or perhaps a BCS tie-in.

I never saw this on a t-shirt, but when I was at South Texas in fall 93 - winter 94, there was a saying we had on the MOVATS crew:

"Uncertainty leads to income, confusion leads to profit!!!!"

It was a very profitable year!!!!!!!!!!!!!   8)

Early '80s, Surry - B.O.H.I.C.A.  (bend over, here it comes again)

sometime after April 1979, TMI - "We stayed and saved your a**!"

Late '90s Pilgrim - "Snow Foolin'" (after the April Fool's Day snow of 18 inches)

Numerous places and times - "Nuclear Jack" (Panama Jack with a respirator on)

Can't remember where - "A little Nukie never hurt anyone".  I think it was made by the Massachusetts Voice of Energy.

Early '80s Surry - "Respirator Refueling"

There are many more, it would be nice to hear about more of the oldies but goodies.
Keep honking.  I'm reloading.

Ft Calhou... just this fall
