Me never married....but my mom and dad....41 years this April. They dated twice within 24 hours. He back to GA as a Staff Sgt in the Army...married several months later...shortly days after his divorce was final. So who says you can't find the right one.  8)

so true, my mom and dad had it rough at times but they were married almost 31 years when he passed away and they had only known each other 8 days when they got married, my dad had just been discharged and come home from Korea when he met my mom...

I just finished my 26th year of Husband Training as post graduate work on two years of Boyfreind Training. She still has a lot of work to do!!  8)

Congrats to all.  We have made it for 10 yrs now.  Some of that while I was in the Navy, a lot of it while I was on the road.  I love her more today than I did those many years ago.  Although how she has put up with me I will never know.  As was stated above she is my best friend and that helps.  Heres hoping for many more years together.

We double-dipped for 19 years. She apparently had a different definition of double-dipping though. Much happier now with new dental hygenist wife. Free dental care!!! Woo Hoo. She hates the mall too!  ;D

When this poll was first posted, I was in the 1-5 year category, now I'm in the 15+ group.

Marlin

No progress for me I'm still in the +25 category.  ;)

36 years all on the road with the missus.

SCMasterchef

32 for me and my missus, most on the road with a few breaks in house jobs.  Wouldn't trade her for nothing.  She has stuck it out and has been a real trooper with this whole mess.  She has had trouble with the traveling over the last 5-6 years so we have tried to settle it down somewhat.  Don't want to loose her over something stupid like a job.

32 years for Mrs. M and I:  24 active duty Navy, 7 civilian nuclear power(SRO), 1 straight M-F days teaching at EB shipyard.

Lady Nuke

It's been about 33 years so far and around half of that time, both of us were on the road and working together.  The last 16 has been spent at pretty much one location, though.  Techs that knew him before we met would have never believed he would still be married at this point in time.

It's been about 33 years so far....

in late '06 it was twenty years,....

now, in early '17 it is 33 years,...

which just goes to the point that married years are like dog years,....

the longer they go on the shorter they get and the more they pile up,...

until eventually, when you say 50 years, ya might as well just claim eternity,....

Lady Nuke

OK, let me clarify.  Married for 30 and "living in sin" on the road for the other 3.  Math should be about right, now.

nukewood

If you add them all up >40 years.

CDRForever

Only less than a year so far, hope it lasts long !

OK now I have made progress but just because I added a +35 category   ;)

Chimera

My count stopped 32 years ago at 17 years.  Never have found a suitable replacement.

My statement is like nukewood's.  I have been married a total of 35 years! It took two marriages to get there but you do what you gotta do.
